Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmaavat’ finally hits the screens today. Due to the protests, the Police forces have been stepped up as security at various places and cinema theatres to maintain law and order. Amidst these ongoing issues in India over this epic period drama, the film is cleared for a release in our neighbouring country Pakistan with a ‘U’ certificate and without any cuts.

Mobashir Hasan, Pakistan’s Censor board’s top official has confirmed the same to an agency. Satish Reddy, a key film distributor in Pakistan has told to an agency that ‘Padmaavat’ should have a very strong response in its first week.
