‘Chandigarh Mein’ song: This peppy number from ‘Good Newwz’ is the party anthem of the year

The makers of ‘Good Newwz’ dropped its first song online today. It is titled as ‘Chandigarh Mein’. Along with the lead characters Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani, the song also features Badshah and Harrdy Sandhu.

The peppy Punjabi number is crooned by Badshah, Harrdy Sandhu, Lisa Mishra, and Asees Kaur. Music and lyrics are given by Tanishk Bagchi. The glamorous set-up, blingy outfits, and swags of the stars add to the song. Badshah’s rap is like icing on the cake. Also, don’t miss Karan Johar’s special appearance in the song as he says, “Oh my God, this is original”.

We are sure this is going to be the party number and will be heard at parties, discos, bars and weddings.

Talking about the song, Akshay told Hindustan Times, “I still don’t know what I love more, the beat or the lyrics. But it doesn’t matter because put them together and you have the party anthem of the year. Badshah and Harrdy have killed it as always. I dare anyone to try and sit still through this song. It is so catchy and, like I said, the beat just makes you wanna get up and dance.”

Directed by Raj Mehta, ‘Good Newwz’ is releasing on December 27.
