Govinda delays a TV show shoot, arrives five hours late

Govinda was always infamous for arriving late on his shoots during his heydays. The actor was known to land up late on the sets and as a result delaying the schedule.

And while you think that things might have changed with time, looks like Govinda’s habit of coming late is still there. The actor is all set to make his comeback on screen with his movie ‘Aa Gaya Hero’ and as part of promotions of the film, he went on the sets of reality show ‘The Voice India 2’.

A source stated that he arrived five hours late due to which some of the acts that were planned with the actor had to be cancelled. “He was to arrive at 11 am but the night before the shoot, he delayed his call time to 1 pm. Understanding the artist’s erratic schedule, the makers complied. Unfortunately, on the shoot day of the shoot, Govinda did not turn up even till 1 pm and hence, the makers of the show shot half the episode without him. We had finished performances of Team Benny post which we took a lunch break expecting him to reach the sets soon, but even that did not work in our favour as he did not come. We had to start shooting the other performances also without him. He ended up missing more than half the performances,” the source adds.
