Govinda : I will not promote ‘Jagga Jasoos’

Bollywood actor Govinda had recently walked out from Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos. This shocking news had come on the heels of another Bollywood actor’s walkout. Yes actress Rekha had walked out of Katrina Kaif starrer Fitoor. Now it is being rumoured that he has been abruptly dropped from Jagga Jasoos and Anurag Basu has approached Amitabh Bachchan to replace him in the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer.

Govinda in a candid chat said, ” My role in Jagga Jasoos is just afriendly appearance of with barely three or four scenes. I’ve finished my work but I won’t be a part of the promotions. I’m upset with the makers for not clarifying things on my behalf. I can understand them not wanting to get dragged into a silly controversy but not reacting was not a solution.Nobody is allowed to make money by defaming me. I may forgive but I’ll never forget.”

Govinda’s daughter, Tina Ahuja, will be making her Bollywood debut in Second Hand Husband. Proud father Govinda was happy that she will make her beginning without help from him. He said, ” After Partner and Bhagam Bhaag, I didn’t work for five years. It was a difficult time and making a film was impossible. I couldn’t give her a break when I was struggling myself. But after Happy Ending and Kill Dil, I signed nine films and will roll with two home productions in September.”
