Govinda recreates ‘Kisi Disco Mein Jaayein’ with wife Sunita and it’s an epic sight

Remember the track ‘Kisi Disco Mein Jaayein’ from the movie ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’? It featured Govinda and Raveena Tandon and the legends wowed us with their funky dance steps which are aped even to date with relish. And this time, it was Govinda who recreated the song. Wait, before you think too much, let us tell you that though he indeed danced again on the same, it was at a function, and he did the same not with Raveena Tandon, but with his real life heroine, his wife Sunita, and it is an epic sight, the two of them dancing on this number.

Makes us wonder, why didn’t we ever get to see Sunita on screen. Her chemistry with her husband is electrifying and she is killing the dance floor with her steps. As for Govinda, he is a legend in the genre, so what can we say about him.

The track is originally from the movie ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, which also featured megastar Amitabh Bachchan and ‘Baahubali’ fame Ramya Krishnan. It also featured Madhuri Dixit in a special number.

On the work front, Govinda was last seen in a full-fledged role in ‘Aa Gaya Hero’ which was an attempt to revive the comic genre he was famous for. Sadly, the movie tanked at the box office. Govinda also had a special appearance in Anurag Basu’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’ starring Ranbir Kapoor, but owing to constant revisions in the script, Govinda’s scene in the same was chopped. The actor was quite miffed with the same and took to social media to express his displeasure on the same. The actor found support in Rishi Kapoor, who also blasted the director for his impractical approach of filming which led to the colossal failure of the movie.

Well, putting aside all that, we really did enjoy Govinda and Sunita’s rendition of ‘Kisi Disco Mein Jaayein’. Their kids surely have got one sassy set of parents.
