Govinda’s Daughter says, Dad didn’t ask Salman Khan to launch me

Bollywood actor Govinda‘s daughter Tina Ahuja was rumoured to be launched by Salman Khan in Bollywood, apparently her father Govinda had asked Salman Khan to launch her in Bollywood, but things did not turnout as expected. Instead Salman Khan had launched Sonakshi Sinha, this led to things turning sour between the two friends.

Now Tina Ahuja, has debuted in Bollywood with ‘Second Hand Husband’ opposite Punjabi singer Gippy Grewal. Tina Ahuja has dismissed the rumours about her father asking superstar Salman Khan for her launch into the industry.

She said, “It was said that my dad asked him (Salman) to launch me. But it is not true. That was just a rumour. I was never going to be launched by him. It was all created by media. I have met him (Salman) just two-three times. I was too shy to talk to him. I don’t know what to say to him. He is my father’s friend, not mine.”

Tina Ahuja’s debut film ‘Second Hand Husband’ is being directed by Smeep Kang and also stars Gippy Grewal, Dharmendra among others. It is set for a release on July 3.
