Aamir Khan
We can always count on Aamir to deliver his own inimitable version of style on the red carpet. Even this time, it was no different—except that his huge colourful nose pin made for an even more style-forward outing. The actor showed up in blue shirt, black pants and a chequered waistcoat. The look was simple but the actor made it interesting the Khan-way with his geeky glasses and tiny silver hoop earrings.
Anushka Sharma
Hot as hell. Anushka wore this sexy Galvan metallic gown at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards. She opted for smoky eyes that totally complimented the metallic gown and a sleek side-parted hairdo finished out her look. Now that’s how you flaunt a hot bod, fellas!
Ranveer Singh
The man owned the red carpet with his usual quirky antics like a boss. Ranveer was spotted wearing this pinstripe suit with a grey and white printed shirt by Vivienne Westwood. He clubbed the look with a bow tie by Gucci and shiny Oxfords by Christian Louboutin. Those cat eye sunglasses (only he’s allowed to wear them at night) and his box clutch were all bang on.
Esha Gupta
Esha flaunted all things red at the awards night and was seen in this one-shoulder Monsoori gown. She completed her look with ankle strap Jimmy Choo pumps, shimmery jewellery from Aurelle and a bold red lip. And look at that thigh-high slit and those cutouts around the waist. Dramatic and sultry, we say!
Irrfan Khan
Did he just wake up as Ranveer Singh that day? Only Ranveer could have pulled off that weird look and we think Irrfan kind of failed to create that eccentric magic in this Shantanu and Nikhil outfit that included a high-low sky blue kurta with awkward ruffles on one side, royal blue jacket and matching pants. But hey, we love him anyway and let’s give him some credit for his unique attempt at fashion.
Adah Sharma
Adah, did you think you were at the airport where it’s acceptable to wear shades in the night? She seems to have had a temporary identity crisis as we couldn’t understand what statement she was really trying to make. Sharma wore a black leather corset with matching flared pants and yellow sunglasses. Everything was so horribly wrong with the attire and we don’t know why she chose a caged bra and that tacky gold body chain for the torso.
Sridevi
We have totally mixed feelings about this outfit. Sridevi wore this Manish Malhotra creation that included a plain black silk kurta with matching pants and a long heavily embellished jacket. We really loved the shimmery jacket but are not sure about the rest of the look. It doesn’t really do justice to this eternal beauty.
Malaika Arora
Malaika was clicked in this black lace dress with a plunging V-neckline that was offset by cape-style sleeves. The outfit had a thigh length bodice with a floor-length sheer overlay. Malaika completed the look with side-swept curls and a pair of peep-toe pumps. We think that the lady has set the fashion standards so high that this look was rather disappointing.
Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline Fernandez looked gorgeous in this Manish Malhotra gown from the collection showcased at LFW Winter Festive 2017. While the gown and hair looked perfect, there was something too glum about the look. Was it the gold eye makeup or that boring lip colour? We’re still trying to figure that out.
Kalki Koechlin
It took us a while to understand that it’s a fusion, reinvented saree with a bardot neckline. This asymmetric green printed outfit with a thigh-high slit designed by Amit Aggarwal is somewhere between weird and pretty. It seemed a bit odd for the occasion, agree?
Kim Sharma
Now here’s Kim Sharma who’s got the idea of gender fluidity completely wrong. We’re not sure what exactly was she thinking when she clubbed a white blazer with matching shirt, black trousers and a striped tie. And that high bun on her head and black pocket handkerchief gave us a minor migraine attack.
Konkana Sensharma
Konkona generally steps out in comfy sarees and desi-boho looks. So, this all-black Huchu cape dress was a refreshing change. The actress clubbed it with H & M tassel earrings and metallic Zara pumps. Don’t you think she exuded understated elegance?
Sidharth Malhotra
Sidharth Malhotra looked dapper in this classic all-black tuxedo. He wore this cute little velvet bow tie and black shiny shoes to complete the look. It’s really difficult to be so adorable and hot at the same time. How does he manage it?
It was raining B-town celebs last night as GQ Awards took place at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. Our handsome hunk and dazzling divas lit up the red carpet with the best of their style saunters. But what made our day was Aamir Khan’s unexpected appearance. Of course, there are many other eye candies we’re going to talk about right here.
