Green signal for Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express

The clash of titans has been averted Shahrukh Khans Chennai Express and Akshay Kumar’s OUATIM 2 that were all set to clash at box office on Eid will not being doing so now for Ekta Kapoor has revised the release date of her OUATIM 2 to Aug 15. The two had set jitters in the industry regarding their intention to release their movie on the same date on Eid .

As per sources , After months of meetings and discussions Ekta heeded the advice of well wishers that it will eat into the profits of both the movies so she shifted her date to August 15.

It seems the stake holders of Chennai Express had asked actor Jeetendra to reconsider the release date in the better interest of both so he spoke to Balaji team and the disaster was averted..

The Eid clash of the two power packed films had been much anticipated by fans and the film fraternity.
