Guess when does Rajkumar Hirani want to release Sanjay Dutt’s biopic?

Many filmmakers book a date for their films even before start shooting it. Here, the festive season turns to be more eye-grabbing date as releasing a movie on such occasion gives a wider reach and grand opening at the box -office. Following this instinct filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani who is gearing up for his next a biopic on actor Sanjay Dutt has targetted a date for this project.

Apparently, the director wants to lock the festive season month of Christmas in 2017. Rajkumar Hirani who is promoting his production venture ‘Saala Khadoos’ currently stated that the script of this movie is locked and the film will start shooting from the month of July.

This film stars Ranbir Kapoor playing the role of actor Sanjay Dutt. But the remaining cast of the movie is yet to be finalized by the director.

If this celebrated director manages to achieve a release in Christmas 2017, it would be his fourth project after his previous films ‘Munna Bhai MBBS,’ ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘PK’ being released in the same period.
