‘Gulabo Sitabo’: Amitabh Bachchan’s first look will leave you astonished

Amitabh Bachchan is gearing up to share screen space with Ayushmann Khurrana in ‘Gulabo Sitabo’. The ace actor has left his fans astonished with the first look picture from the film shared this morning. Amitabh Bachchan looks extremely unrecognizable in the first look picture from Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming film. It seems like he’s playing a typical landlord, going by his looks.

While many actors hang up their boots at this age, Amitabh Bachchan seems to be ageing backwards. The actor, who doesn’t shy away from experimenting with his roles, is surely an inspiration for many of us.  With each passing year, Big B is taking up some of the most challenging roles. Sharing the first look of the actor from the comedy-drama ‘Gulabo Sitabo’, film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted about the film. Amitabh can be seen as an old man, with white long beard, wearing spectacles and holding a scarf around his face. Check it out here.

With ‘Gulabo Sitabo’, Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana will mark their first-ever on-screen collaboration. The film is said to be a family comedy-drama.

While talking about the film, a source had informed Mumbai Mirror, “When Shoojit showed him the look sketch, he (Amitabh Bachchan) was excited to work on the film, taking it on as a new challenge. He is required to sit down with the make-up team for hours before starting the shoot. An international crew has come on board to work on the appearance.”

While much has not been made official yet about the plot of the film, ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ is slated to release in April 2020.
