The kids from ‘Mere Pyare Prime Minister’ have challenged Ranveer Singh with their ‘Gully’ rap. As seen in the trailer of ‘Mere Pyare Prime Minister’, the children are not just fierce in ‘reel’ life but also in ‘real’ life.
Kanhu from the film named Krishna took to his social media handle posted a video wherein the little one (along with his companions) has challenged Ranveer Singh by rapping in a unique way. He posted the video and wrote,”Hui Hai Gandi Baat Meri Gully Mein @ranveersingh Kya Tu Dega Mera Sath Meri Gully Mein? #RanveerKoChallenge (sic).”
The kids could completely relate to ‘Gully Boy’ Ranveer Singh, so they made a rap challenge for him. And asked him if he will help them.
With this movie, director Rakesh Omprakash Mehra has shown real-life problems faced by people who stay in the slum areas. The makers of the movie decided to launch the trailer on Basant Panchami as it marks the beginning of the Holi season and is cited to be the harbinger of spring.
The music of the film is given by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and the lyrics have been penned by Gulzar. It promises to strike a chord with the people.
The movie stars Anjali Patil, Om Kanojiya, Makarand Deshpande, Rasika Agashe, Sonia Albizuri, Nachiket Purnapatre and Atul Kulkarni. It is set to release on March 15.
