Actor Gulshan Devaiah is set to play a struggling director who dreams of making a Bollywood film someday in the upcoming movie ‘Pichchar’. He feels that to prepare for his role, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap would be a great reference point.
“There are certain aspects of my role for which I am using him as source material. As a mark of respect, I can’t reveal what they are because some of the inspiration comes from a very personal space.
“I have a tremendous deal of respect and gratitude towards Anurag. He gave me my first break and I am living my dream because of that,” Gulshan, who worked with Kashyap in ‘That Girl in Yellow Boots’, said in a statement.
While he is yet to shoot for ‘Pichchar’, his next ‘Cabaret’ with Richa Chadha, is expected to hit the screens soon.
