Gumraah Teaser: Aditya Roy Kapur is a criminal in an ‘unsolved mystery’ co-starring Mrunal Thakur

The teaser of Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur starrer Gumraah is finally out! And, the first rushes of the upcoming movie give a glimpse of the exciting thriller. The film Gumraah is solely based on a unsolved murder mystery where the police are dealing with a deadly criminal. Directed by Vardhan Ketkar, Gumraah is scheduled to release theatrically on April 7.

The first rushes of the movie open with Aditya Roy Kapur speaking with a gangster on his phone. With a thrilling back shot of the actor, flashing his wounds, he says, “Bohot maara tere gundo ne mujhe. Maine gina nahi. Kyunki, main ek hi maarunga. Par uska dard pure life hi rahega. (Your goons hit me a lot. But I didn’t count. Because, I will hit only once. And, you won’t forget the pain for the rest of your life).” As the background score intensifies, Aditya appears in a rugged look.

The teaser gives a glimpse into the movie and what to expect from the trailer. Gumraah seemingly revolves around a lover, who turns murderer when he loses the love of his life, in an unfortunate turn of events. The police then are on a hunt to find the mysterious killer.

While Aditya is all set to play the role of a killer while Mrunal Thakur and Ronit Roy put on their cop hats to play fierce police officers.

Aditya Roy Kapur took to his Instagram to share the teaser video. He dropped the video and wrote, “In the end, the only deception that matters is the one you believe. Gumraah Teaser Out Now.”

Meanwhile, speaking of Gumraah, directed by Vardhan Ketkar, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Anjum Khetani under the banner of T-Series and Cine 1 Studios. Scheduled to release in theatres on April 7, Gumraah will clash at the box office with Bawaal starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor.
