Gurmeet Choudhary says that he doesn’t want to do s*x scenes in his movies anymore

Actor Gurmeet Choudhary started out as a television actor, but soon established himself as a big screen actor too. His roles in ‘Khamoshiyan’ and ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ were on similar lines as both were erotic thrillers and the actor received a lot of flak for his intimate scenes in the movie from his fans. In fact, there were also reports of his actress-wife Debina being unhappy with his erotic scenes in ‘Wajah Tum Ho’. Although, the actor and his wife cleared the air stating that they are true professionals and don’t get affected by such things. Now, as Gurmeet is all geared up for his upcoming flick ‘Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana’, he opens up on how we would like to follow in Salman Khan’s footsteps of his character Prem and also how we wants to avoid doing erotic thrillers in future.

Speaking to DNA, the actor stated, “I am so done with them. Not that I disown those films. For an outsider like me, I am from Bihar, getting into Bollywood was an ordeal. Making a name for myself on television was easier than finding a place in Bollywood. So when Bhatt Saab offered me ‘Khamoshiyan’ and ‘Wajah Tum Ho’, I took them up without a second thought.”

He further said, “‘Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana” will be a sweet and simple family film, the kind that Sooraj Barjatya does with Salman Khan. But, I want to project the hero in the Maryada Purshottam mould, the way Salman Khan did in ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun!’ and ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’.”

We are sure his fans would love their idol in this movie which is slated to release on April 7, 2017.
