Rana Daggubati starrer Haathi Mere Saathi was scheduled to hit the silver screens this Friday i.e on March 26. The film was simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil. However, just two days before its release, the makers of this Rana starrer have announced that the film’s release date has been pushed.
Citing the reason behind their sudden decision, Eros Now, the producer of the film, have said that due to the current Covid-19 situation the film’s Hindi version won’t be releasing this Friday. Read on to know the details.
Sharing the reason why Haathi Mere Saathi won’t be keeping its date with the audience, Eros Now tweeted, “Haathi Mere Saathi Release update- Dear viewers, It pains us to share this news but given the Covid-19 situation in the Hindi markets, the team of Haathi Mere Saathi has decided to hold on to the release of the film. We shall keep you posted on further developments. However, we will be releasing Aranya and Kaadan in the South markets on the 26th of March (sic).”
So only the Hindi version’s release has been pushed. The Tamil (Kaadan) and Telugu (Aranya) version of Haathi Mere Sathi will be releasing on March 26 as per the original schedule.

Apart from Rana, Haathi Mere Saathi also features Pulkit Samrat, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain. Directed by Prabhu Solomon, the film is bankrolled by Eros International.
