Coronavirus cases are increasing every day. Many Bollywood stars have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past few weeks. In recent times, Paresh Rawal, Kartik Aaryan, and Rohit Saraf have tested positive for Covid-19. Earlier, actors Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, among many others were infected with the virus. Alia Bhatt also recently tested positive. The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress is currently under home quarantine.
The Raazi actress took to her Instagram account and posted a note, informing her fans and followers that she is following all the safety protocols listed by her doctors. Soon after she revealed the news, fans started to wish their favourite actress a speedy recovery from the virus.
Taking to Instagram, Alia wrote, “Hello all, I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care.” Meanwhile, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) ordered all its workers and technicians not to attend the shooting of Alia Bhatt’s film Gangubai Kathiawadi for a few days. Furthermore, they are given instructions to take necessary measures, including COVID test, if any kind of symptoms are there.

Apart from Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brashmtra. The movie also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mouni Roy. Other than that, Alia will also be seen in SS Rajamouli’s RRR. On her birthday, Alia’s first look as Sita was released and it received a warm response. Just yesterday Alia was spotted with beau Ranbir Kapoor in a dubbing studio in Mumbai. Ranbir has tested negative for the virus and has fully recovered. On Thursday, Mumbai reported 8,646 new coronavirus cases, its highest one-day rise since the outbreak of the pandemic. The city’s overall caseload tally stands at 4,23,360.
