Hansal’s ‘Omerta’ and Anurag’s ‘Mukkabaaz’ to be screened at TIFF

Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2017 will be happening in September, and Hansal mMhta’s ‘Omerta’ and Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Mukkabaaz’ will be premiered at the film festival. Even Bornila Chatterjee’s ‘The Hungry’ will have its premiere there.

Hansal Mehta took to twitter to inform his fans about it. He tweeted, “#OMERTA will have it’s world premier at the Toronto International Film Festival 2017 (#TIFF2017). Congratulations & love to the team!”

‘Omerta’ stars Hansal’s favourite actor Rajkummar Rao. This will be the actor and the director’s fourth collaboration. (Also Read: ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ second poster: Ayushmann, Kriti and Rajkummar look spectacular!)

Talking about ‘Mukkabaaz’, the film is directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Aanand L Rai. It stars Vineet Singh Kumar and Jimmy Sheirgill in the lead roles. ‘The Hungry’ too has an interesting cast comprising of Naseeruddin Shah, Tisca Chopra and Sayani Gupta.

Apart from these films Ali Fazal’s Hollywood outing with Judi Dench titled ‘Victoria & Abdul’ will also be having its premiere at TIFF.
