The actress who has been on high after giving a number of hits was born on 5 January 1986 in Copenhagen, Denmark, to badminton player Prakash Padukone and Ujjala a travel agent. She also has a sister Anisha who is five years younger to her.

Deepika made her debut in Bollywood with ‘Om Shanti Om’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the year 2007.
