Happy Birthday Shahid Kapoor

Bollywood’s talented actor Shahid Kapoor turns a year older today. Shahid is truly his father Pankaj Kapur’s son, from whom he has inherited his acting genes. The ‘Haider’ actor was born on born 25 February 1981, to parents Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azeem.

Shahid Kapoor’s romance with camera started at a very young age. He has done many advertisements and also music videos. Sasha, as he is lovingly called was a star dancer in Shiamak Davars troupe. He debuted in Bollywood as a background dancer in the song “Kahin Aag Lage Lag Jawe” along with actress Aishwarya Rai. Later he played his first leading role as Rajiv Mathur, in Ken Ghosh’s ‘Ishq Vishk’ opposite Amrita Rao and Shenaz Treasurywala.

Shahid Kapoor soon became the most sought after actor in Bollywood with many hits like s like ‘Jab We Met’, ‘Kaminey’, ‘R…Rajkumar’. His latest outing – ‘Haider’ – directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, redefined Shahid as an actor par excellence.

Having given some of his best performances in his career, that has seen many ups and downs. Also having dated some of the most beautiful women in the industry. Shahid Kapoor is now awaiting the release of his next a wedding destination film ‘Shaandaar’.
