Happy Birthday to the spectacular actor Irrfan Khan

Irrfan Khan was born as Sahabzade Irrfan Ali Khan on 7 January 1967 in a Muslim Nawab family in Jaipur, Rajasthan. His Father ran a tyre business whereas his mother Begum, was from the Tonk Hakim family. On 23 February 1995, Khan married writer and fellow NSD graduate Sutapa Sikdar. They have two sons, Babil and Ayan.

After working in a number of Bollywood films such as Paan Singh Tomar , Haasil , Life in a metro , Gunday , Maqbool , Haider , Lunchbox, Jazbaa and Talvar, Irrfan has gained international recognition with his stint in Hollywood too in films like Namesake, New York, I Love You, A Mighty Heart, The Darjeeling Limited, Slumdog Millionaire, The Amazing Spider-Man, Life of Pi, and Jurassic World, Inferno.

He is one of the tallest actors of Bollywood who added an extra R to his name on the advice of a numerologist. After gaining critical acclaim in theater and cinema, the man is now reaping the benefits of his hard work. He is now not only a Bollywood celebrity but an International star too. He has been admired for his outstanding performance in Piku and Jazbaa. he might soon be seen playing a full-fledged baddie role in Spider-Man franchise.
