On the auspicious occasion of Onam, several Bollywood celebs took to their social media handles to wish their fans and followers. Amitabh Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Shilpa Shetty and several other celebs extended greetings to their fans.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan taking to his Twitter handle wished his extended family by tweeting, “Happy Onam .. the harvest festival celebrated in Kerala.”

Anushka Sharma shared the following post on her Insta stories

Kamal Haasan also wished his fans as he tweeted, “Onam marks the beginning of prosperity and happiness for every Malayalee around the world. It is one festival that transcends its own connotations. Priyappatta ellaavarkkum pon ona asamshakal. May life become colourful and joyful again soon.”

Malaika Arora celebrated the festival with the traditional Sadya spread which she enjoyed at her mother Joyce’s place. The actress and her family came together after five months owing to the Coronavirus scare. Also joining them was Amrita and her husband.
