Hardik Pandya finally opens up on dating Natasa Stankovic and their surprise engagement

They say when you find your special person you just know it in your heart. And that was the exact case for lovebirds Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic. Earlier this year in January the couple gave everyone a pleasant surprise by announcing their engagement. And it was just a few days back when they once again surprised everyone by announcing their pregnancy.

The cricketer recently opened up about how he wooed Natasa and how his family reacted to their surprise engagement.

Speaking to cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle for Crickettimes.com, Hardik revealed how they started dating. “I got her by talking. She saw someone in a hat at a place where I met her, wearing a hat, a chain, a watch, at 1 am. So she thought he is ‘alag prakaar ka aadmi aaya’ (different kind of person came).”

He further added, “That is when I started talking to her, started knowing each other. Then, we started dating. Then got engaged on December 31.”

Hardik even said that Natasa had no idea who he was when they had met. Revealing how even his parents didn’t know about his engagement, the cricketer said, “My parents also didn’t know that I was getting engaged. Two days before (the engagement), I told Krunal(Hardik’s brother). I told him, ‘I have had enough. I have found someone in my life who I love, and I am becoming better’. They (family) backed me and told ‘do whatever you want’.”

Three days back, the couple took everyone by surprise when they announced about expecting their first child together. Sharing a few stunning pictures, Natasa wrote, “Hardik and I have shared a memorable journey together so far and now, it’s only going to get better ? Together, we are excited to welcome a new life into our lives very soon. We’re super excited for this new step of our life together and humbly ask your blessings and well wishes (sic).”

The couple’s pregnancy announcement pictures also added fuel to their marriage rumours. However, neither of them have spoken about these rumours yet.
