Sonam Kapoor is expecting her first child with husband Anand Ahuja. The actress announced her pregnancy earlier this year. Since announcing pregnancy, Sonam has been sharing pictures and flaunting her baby bump. The Kapoor family is beyond happy for Sonam and Anand. Sonam’s brother, actor Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor is excited to become a mama.

Speaking with ETimes, Harsh said, “I am excited. Let’s just hope that the delivery is normal and Sonam is okay. Honestly speaking, I am not good with kids. It is a new experience for all of us.”

Earlier, Harsh talked about Sonam grabbing attention after her pregnancy announcement. He told India Today, “It would also be important to respect their privacy in a way, because I think when you love someone and they’re producing someone that you love, it’s kind of sacred. It’s not to prove anything to anybody or it’s not for the world. It’s for you. So, it would be nice to kind of give them that space as well.”

Sonam and Anand can’t wait to welcome their first child. The actress had announced her pregnancy by sharing pictures with her husband. She had captioned, “Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you. #everydayphenomenal #comingthisfall2022.”
