Shahid Kapoor reduces fees for Anees Bazmee’s comedy drama?

Shahid Kapoor is collaborating with Anees Bazmee known for his hit films like No Entry, Welcome, Singh Is King, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 among others. The filmmaker and the actor are coming together for the first time for a big-ticket comedy entertainer for 2023. As per the latest reports the Jersey star has reduced his fees to be a part of the movie.

As reported by sources to Midday, “Shahid Kapoor has reduced his fee for the film that is being produced by Ekta Kapoor and Dil Raju. Sasha is said to have charged producer Dinesh Vijan a remuneration of R35 crore for a sci-fi rom-com with Kriti Sanon. He is apparently taking home Rs. 25 crores for Kapoor and Raju’s joint production.”

Sources added, “Following the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Anees bhai is sought after by actors. What is important is to make the project commercially viable. Any other adjustment, like profit-sharing, can be worked out later. Shahid understands this and adjusted his fee accordingly.”

On the personal front, Shahid Kapoor was recently on a vacation with his gorgeous wife Mira Rajput. The couple who is quite active on social media has shared pictures and videos of their fun vacation that is creating a buzz on social media. Yesterday the Jersey star shared a steaming hot shirtless selfie with a simple caption, ‘Sharing my profile !’

On the work front, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Jersey with Mrunal Thakur. He next has Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bloody Daddy. Also Raj and DK’s ‘Farzi’ will be Shahid’s OTT debut. It also features Vijay Sethupati and Raashii Khanna in lead roles.
