Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar's feud during Dostana 2 have been the talk of the town. Karan had accused Kartik of being unprofessional. Amidst the feud, the two were clicked together at the IFFM event, which led to the speculation that they have buried the hatchet.

Kartik Aryan has been an actor on a roll ever since the success of his 2022 film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. While Karan Johar recently marked his directorial comeback after seven years with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar’s equation have been the talk of the town ever since the reports of their fallout during Dostana 2 came to light. But looks like, they have decided to let bygones be bygones and start fresh. Wondering why? The two were recently spotted sharing the stage together at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM). Not only this, Karan Johar even praised Kartik Aaryan.

Kartik and Karan collaborated for Dostana 2 in 2019. The movie had gone on floors before the pandemic and Kartik along with the film’s cast had shot for their parts. But reportedly, things did not go as planned which resulted in a bitter fallout between the actor and filmmaker. Karan Johar was upset with Kartik over his unprofessional behavior.

Amidst the reports of the feud, the two were seen clicking pictures together at the IFFM. Karan Johar even appreciated Kartik’s contribution to the industry over the years. The filmmaker said, “This is my third time at IFFM. And I’m so grateful to the warmth and grace of the festival and everyone involved with it. I’m here joined by many fellow of the Indian film fraternity and I’m honoured to be amongst such impeccable talent. We have such iconic filmmakers and actors like the team of Sita Raman, a movie I have loved, Vijay Varma who can practically do any role given to him. Or Kartik, who has given us films that resonate with the entire country and has given films that brought people back to the theatres.”

At the film festival, Karan Johar will commemorate his 25 years of journey in the film industry. He will conduct a masterclass and indulge in an in-depth conversation with experts. While Kartik Aaryan will be honored with the Rising Global Superstar of Indian Cinema award.
