Actor Taha Shah Badussha is currently basking in praises for his role as Tajdar in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi. The entire social media is gushing over this handsome boy who has been touted to become the National’s crush. With all the glory, Taha Shah has now made his debut at the Cannes Film Festival 2024. Expressing his debut at Cannes, Taha said it was a blessing and feels ecstatic that French people know him as Tajdar.

He told Brut India, “I remember bout 10 years ago, I chased him out of a hotel. He was about to get in his car and I was like, ‘Sir please, please I just want to work with you give me, just give me one chance.’ And he just looked at me and sat in his car. Finally, circle of life, he comes back and he actually takes me on as his lead character. It’s nothing short of a blessing and it’s all thanks to God.”
The actor shared, “French people know me. French people go like ‘Tajdar?’. So I believe that it (Heeramandi) has gone global and for me as an actor who has been working for the last 14 years, I believe a little bit of recognition is always an encouragement and I am getting so much.”

The Heeramandi actor shared a picture from the festival where he was seen posing with Rajpal Yadav and Palash Munchhal. Though he has not yet walked the ramp, he shared a picture wearing a white shirt and trousers that he teamed with a sky-blue blazer jacket. He looked quite handsome.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Taha Shah Badussha made his Bollywood debut with YRF’s Luv Ka The End along with Shraddha Kapoor. He then made a notable appearance in Dharma Productions Gippi and a small role in Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra starrer Baar Baar Dekho. However, he garnered immense recognition and love for his role as Tajdar in Netflix’s hit show, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.
