Hema Malini lauds Sunny Deol’s performance in Gadar 2, says, ‘He is superb’

Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 has been making headlines for the right reasons since its release. Sunny as Tara Singh is back and has impressed fans once again. The film has been receiving positive response. Now, Hema Malini, who is married to Sunny’s father-veteran actor Dharmendra, shared her review of the film. The veteran actress heaped praises on son Sunny and called the sequel ‘interesting’. She also added that she loved the film.

While speaking to the media, Hema Malini said, “Gadar dekh kar aayi hun. Bahut hi acha laga. Joh expected tha waise hi tha. Bahut hi interesting hai. Aisa lag raha tha ki 70s aur 80s ka us zamane ka film ke jaisa ek daur hai. Us daur ko leke aaye hai. Anil Sharma ji ne bohot beautiful direction kiya hai. (I just watched Gadar. I liked it a lot. What was expected, it’s exactly that. It’s interesting. It felt like a film from the 70s and 80s era. Anil Sharma has directed beautifully).”

She further added, “Sunny is superb, Utkarsh, Anil Sharma ji’s son unhone ne bhi bohot sundar acting kiya hai. Jo nayi ladki hai, woh bhi bahut achi hai. Yeh picture dekh kar ek dum rastra ke pati jo bhav hone chahiye, patriotism, woh bahut hi hai. Muslim ke prati jo bhai chara hona chahiye, us Vishay ko last mein leke aaye hai. (Utkarsh, Anil Sharma’s son he has also done beautiful acting. The new girl is also good. After watching the film, the patriotism that should be felt towards the country is there. The matter of brotherhood towards the Muslim has also been shown towards the end).”

Recently, Dharmendra too celebrated the success of the film. Esha Deol too showed her support for Gadar 2. The actress had hosted a special screening for Sunny’s Gadar 2. The film is winning hearts.

Well, Gadar 2 is a sequel to Gadar which released in 2001. For the uninitiated, Sunny Deol starrer has crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the domestic box office.
