‘Hera Pheri 3’: Akshay Kumar just confirmed working on the 3rd part of the comedy franchise

There is something with Akshay Kumar and his comedy flicks, and that’s why his fans eagerly wait to watch the actor in comedy films. The Khiladi Kumar of Bollywood, who is currently busy promoting his upcoming comedy flick, ‘Good Newwz’, has some interesting projects to treat his fans. The actor makes an interesting revelation in one of his recent media interactions. He confirmed that he has been working on the third franchise of his box-office hit film, ‘Hera Pheri’.

Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal’s comedy flick, ‘Hera Pheri‘ went on to become one of the best comedy films in Bollywood when it was released. The reports of ‘Hera Pheri 3’ being on cards has been doing the rounds for long. It had been announced with Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Suneil Shetty and Paresh Rawal in the lead. However, things didn’t pan out then. Akshay was later roped in to come back to the franchise. Abhishek and John had left the project afterward. Later on, the film got delayed after director Neeraj Vora fell ill. Lastly, after Neeraj Vora passed away, the progress of the movie went further in limbo.

After that, there was no official confirmation from the maker’s side so far. Finally, while talking about working on this project, Akshay recently informed Mumbai Mirror that, “We are working to get it started.”

Although the makers have not yet officially confirmed the movie, AK has made us with his confirmation at least. While much is not revealed about the plot of the film, it was earlier said that Akshay and the other star-cast of the film will be seen portraying the characters close to their real age. The third franchise of the film is said to be taking off from where the ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ ended. Are you excited to know more about the film? Do let us know.
