Here are the details about Yami Gautam’s character from ‘Kaabil’

Yami Gautam, who was last seen in ‘Sanam Re’ opposite Pulkit Samrat, is gearing up for her next venture ‘Kaabil.’ The film which is helmed by Sanjay Gupta stars Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam in the lead role. Earlier, it was Kareena Kapoor Khan who was supposed to be a part of this film but, she rejected the offer and the film fell in Yami’s kitty.

Talking about the film, nothing much has been revealed yet. When Kareena refused to act in this film, it was being said that the role of the female lead in the film is very short. The lady is supposed to die within the first half of the film and hence there’s very little screen space for the actress. This was the cause of Kareena Kapoor rejecting the film. Apart from this, we have now learnt that Yami would play the role of a blind girl in the film. According to a report in a leading daily, Yami’s character in the film is of a blind girl and she is undergoing some sessions under the experts to learn the body language of the blind. A source was quoted saying, ”

A source was quoted saying, “She will start shooting soon, and will play the role of a blind girl in the film. Needless to say, it is not easy to portray such a character. Yami, therefore has hired a tutor to get her body language right. The session will be held every day for about an hour at her home.”

Good to know that she is making efforts to get into the skin of her character. The shooting of the film is set to begin soon. Hrithik is currently busy shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker’s ambitious project ‘Mohenjo Daro.’ It is a period drama film with the backdrop of Indus Valley civilisation.
