Here’s why Ajaz Khan won’t be celebrating Eid this year

Today everyone is celebrating Eid. But, actor Ajaz Khan, who will next be seen in the film ‘Love Day’, has decided not to celebrate the festival.

Talking about Eid, Ajaz said, “Celebrating Eid is very much important for me and my family for all these years as it consider very sacred and has religious value. Every year, I celebrate Eid at home with my family and friends.”

When he was asked how he will celebrate the festival this year, the actor stated, “This year no Eid celebration for me, but my family will. I won’t buy new clothes for myself. Though my mother insisted me but I have decided.”

Reasoning why he won’t be celebrating Eid, Ajaz said, “Because in Palestine, Burma, Syria and Turkey innocent lives of Muslims have been killed and unjust.  How can one celebrate festival when there is demise at home?”

Ajaz, who believes that ‘World is one big family’, is saddened and deeply hurt by these unfortunate events. “I strongly appeal to those who celebrate Eid please remember those lives in your prayers and pray for them who are still in pain.  Eid Mubarak to all,” he further said.
