Here’s how Aamir Khan made former wife Reena Dutta’s birthday special

Aamir Khan is keeping busy with promotions of ‘Secret Superstar’. Starring ‘Dangal’ girl Zaira Wasim, it is a film of dream, rebellion, love and more; and also features Aamir in a very different character.

The actor was in Turkey for three days to promote the release. Taking up a hectic schedule, he landed at Mumbai on October 8 at around 6 am in the morning and decided to engage in promotional activities from 7 am onward.

While his day was packed, he ensured to attend former wife Reena Dutta’s birthday celebrations. (Also Read: Aamir Khan: Filmmakers have to be little more sensitive towards the child)

During the day, Aamir’s children Junaid and Ira called him to tell him that they had kept a surprise birthday party for their mother and would want Aamir over as well.

A 50th birthday is special, right? He was prompt to prepone and reschedule the day’s work. He wrapped the day quickly and reached the party along with his family, in the evening.

Unlike many other celebrity couples who headed to splitsville with a lot of bitterness, Aamir and Reena are warm and cordial with each other. The former actress is also involved with Aamir’s social welfare organisation ‘Paani Foundation’.
