Here’s how Shraddha Kapoor’s parents react to her linkup rumours

Although young, Shraddha Kapoor is building her own forte in the industry. She will be seen in ‘Rock On 2’ alongside Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli in an ambitious, intense character and has also lent her voice to the film’s soundtrack. However, with all name and fame comes a little hazard too. Actors are always under the scanner for their personal lives and Shraddha is no exception.

During a conversation with an entertainment portal, she was asked how her parents react to news and rumours pertaining to her personal space and relationships.

“Whatever rumours are written, are written about everyone. Actors and actresses are linked to one another. My parents know better. Initially when I used to get linked to anyone, I would get more upset than them. I would ask why is this happening to me? I would get very affected but my parents would sit down and explain that it was all part of the profession. They have been in this industry for years so they would ask me to calm down and say that they know it’s all rubbish,” Shraddha smiled.

Out of all the people, she was linked to her ‘Aashiqui 2’ co-star Aditya Roy Kapur. Afterwards, gossip mongers claimed Farhan Akhtar to be going around with her. Farhan’s separation with wife Adhuna Bhabani fueled the rumours even more.

Apart from ‘Rock On 2’, Shraddha now awaits the release of her romantic flick ‘OK Jaanu’ opposite Aditya Roy Kapoor again.
