Here’s how Sonakshi Sinha’s parents respond to her link up rumours

Well, rumours are a part and parcel of every celebrity’s life and Sonakshi Sinha is no different. Her link up rumours with her friend Bunty Sachdev have been surfacing at specific intervals, but rumours have always been rumours. At time lady takes it calmly and chooses to ignore, but at time she gives it back to all the gossip mongers through social media. But do you know how do her parents react to all of it? So as she is on her toes promoting her upcoming film ‘Akira’, she is being a part of various media interactions. In one such interaction she was asked how do her parents react to all these gossips to which she said,

My dad doesn’t get into it at all because he has been through it more than me. But my mother being a mother sometimes gets worried. So I have to really pacify and calm her down. She wonders why are they writing about her daughter and she gets protective about me.

She also stated that unless the stories are not affecting her family, it’s cool, but it goes beyond that then she will come out and speak. She was quoted saying,

If it is only affecting me, I can ignore it. If you are going to drag my family and friends into it, that is not good. That is when I feel like I need to take a stand because people need to realise that along with the person that you are writing about, you affect a lot of people around them which is not right and they have nothing to do with your work or your life outside of how you are with them. I feel that is not right.
