Here’s what Aamir Khan has to say to Akshay Kumar’s “no smoking” advice

Karan Johar’s talk show ‘Koffee With Karan 5’ is a hot topic of discussion for its interesting revelations made by the guests on the show. When the good-looking couple, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna made an appearance on the show, it provided for some fun confessions, mostly by wifey Twinkle. But, Akshay too had his fair share of tips and confessions to make. He spoke about how his stardom may last longer than the Khans of Bollywood because he doesn’t smoke. He had said, “If they stop smoking, SRK, Aamir and Salman will last long, else I will”.

So his advice to the Khans has reached the ears of Mr Perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan. Recently at the special screening of the ‘Dangal’ making video, Aamir Khan was quizzed by some reporter about Akshay Kumar’s “no smoking” comment. Aamir Khan had the perfect reply to it. He said, “I’m not happy at all to smoke in reality, but then I get nervous when my movie is nearing its release date. So, the nervousness makes me take to smoking but after the release of my movie, I do quit the habit. Also, I don’t think that the habit of smoking can affect one’s performance in a movie. Smoking will affect your stamina and health. So, my advice to everyone is not to indulge in the habit of smoking. In fact, I also try to avert myself from smoking.”

It was earlier reported that Aamir Khan who had quit smoking a year back took to the habit again, being nervous for his upcoming movie ‘Dangal’ nearing its date of release. Now, the actor has confessed that this is indeed true. ‘Dangal’ directed by Nitesh Tiwari will be releasing on December 23, 2016.
