Alia Bhatt has impressed everyone with her commendable performance. It’s not just the audience who are in awe of her, but Alia’s parents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan are also extremely proud of what their daughter has achieved at such a young age.
During a recent conversation with a daily, Soni Razdan opened up on Alia being an individual who is clear about her own aims and takes the right decisions.
“Alia doesn’t need my guidance regarding the kind of films she should do. Rather, she is quite a sorted individual who follows a strong instinct. And this seems to have worked in her favour. We are all proud of what she has done for herself at such a young age. She should just stay dedicated to her craft and the rest will fall into place. As her mother, I am always there, but Alia knows what she wants both professionally and personally,” she said. (Also Read: Alia Bhatt sings her track ‘Kar Gayi Chull’ at IIFA, and crowd goes crazy)
“I enjoyed most of her films be it ‘Highway’, ‘2 States’ or ‘Udta Punjab’. But if you ask me to choose the ones I loved, I would say she impressed me with her performances in ‘Udta Punjab’, ‘Highway’ and ‘Dear Zindagi’. But as I always say an actor is never bigger than her role. So I feel she is lucky to have got such opportunities. Also, what I liked is that in each of these films, Alia was different. That is commendable,” the former actress added.
