A few days ago, the soon-to-be mommy Soha Ali Khan had shared some pictures along with her husband-actor Kunal Kemmu on her Instagram account. She was seen wearing a pink saree and reports suggest that the occasion for which she was dressed up was her baby shower. But, unexpectedly the actress got trolled for wearing a saree. Trolls alleged that she didn’t wish or mention about the festival of Eid in her post. Some even alleged her of not being Muslim enough.
Recently, actor Tiger Shroff came out in support of the actress. During a media interaction at an event, the actor was asked about this and he replied saying, “I wasn’t aware of that. But I think everybody has freedom of speech and the right to do or not do whatever they like. Soha ma’am is a respected actor in the industry and a respected citizen.” [sic] (Also Read: ‘Chor Bazaari’ to be recreated in Tiger Shroff and Nidhhi Agerwal-starrer ‘Munna Michael’)
“I don’t think she has done anything wrong by wearing that. I honestly don’t see anything wrong but everybody has their opinions,” added the ‘Baaghi’ actor.
Well said, Tiger!
Currently, Tiger is busy with the promotions of his upcoming film ‘Munna Michael’. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and newcomer Nidhhi Agerwal and is slated to release on July 21, 2017.
