Anushka Sharma REVEALS she’ll be doing one film a year, here’s why

Anushka Sharma is hitting several headlines for her glamorous debut at Cannes 2023. In the interview with Puma, Anushka Sharma speaks about her motherhood and reveals what she and Virat have decided about Vamika’s upbringing.

Anushka on Vamika needing more of her time…

While speaking to Puma India at an event, the PK actress said, “I know my daughter is at this age that she needs a lot more of my time. Virat is a great father. He is very involved as a parent. But she is at that age, we have also seen that, she just needs me more. We recognise that. So, I have taken those steps.” Anushka is surely a doting mother, and we can guess that from the way she takes care of Vamika. 

A child’s upbringing is surely a huge responsibility, and hence, Anushka and Virat have decided to give it as much time as it requires. Continuing the conversation further, the actress said, “I enjoy acting but I don’t want to do too many films as much as I was doing earlier. I want to do one film a year, enjoy the process of acting which is what I like and balance my life out like the way I am, give time to family.”

Anushka Sharma doesn’t want to prove to anyone…

Anushka has always been a secure actor who knows her work and is extremely confident about it. The NH 10 actress said she doesn’t want to prove her worth to anyone. We quote Anushka here,“The way I am leading my life makes me happy and ultimately I don’t want to prove a point to anybody whether as an actor, as a public figure, as a mother, as a wife. I just want to do things that make me happy and make sense to me. I do things which feel right to me. And I don’t look for validation outside of myself anymore.”

Talking about upcoming projects of Anushka Sharma, she is going to be seen in Chakda Xpress. The movie is based on the life of a cricket player named Jhulan Goswami.
