EXCLUSIVE: Here’s why Kajol feels Shah Rukh Khan will be the best person to defend her

Kajol is gearing up for the release of her web series The Trial – Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhokha. Ahead of its release, Kajol along with Jisshu Sengupta and Suparn Verma sat down for an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble. The trio was at their candid best. Talking about Kajol, in particular, she opened up about her equation with Shah Rukh Khan.

Kajol gushes over Shah Rukh Khan

As many are aware, Kajol plays the role of a lawyer in The Trial – Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhokha. So, when asked to name a Bollywood actor who would defend her the best, Kajol picked Shah Rukh Khan.

The actress said, “Shah Rukh (Khan). Hands-down I will choose Shah Rukh. He is the smoothest talker ever. Andwill be standing over there and be like ‘lines ki jaroorat nahi hai, mein bol sakta hu’ (laughs). He will stand there and he will talk me out of anything that I’ve gotten myself into. So, definitely hands-down Shah Rukh.”

Kajol and SRK share a great friendship. On the other hand, they are also known to have amazing chemistry onscreen. Over the years, Kajol and SRK have worked together in films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Baazigar, My Name Is Khan, and Dilwale.

And well, we would love to see SRK as a lawyer opposite Kajol one day.

Talking about The Trail: Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhokha, it also stars Sheeba Chaddha, Jisshu Sengupta, Alyy Khan, Gaurav Pandey and Kubbra Sait. Directed by Suparn Verma and produced by Banijay Asia and Ajay Devgn Films, The Trial – Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhokha will release on Disney+Hotstar on July 14.
