Himansh Kohli on his family getting COVID 19: I am glad I am with them in this tough time

Actor Himansh Kohli recently informed his fans about his father Vipin Kohli, mother Neeru Kohli, and sister Disha Kohli being tested positive for COVID 19. While the actor has tested negative, he is glad that he is with his family in Delhi to take care of them.

The actor flew from Mumbai to Delhi on May 25 to spend time with his family. Talking about the current situation in his house, the Yaariyan actor says, “I’m the only healthy person in the house and I have two main responsibilities – one of taking care of my family, and 2nd is not joining the COVID infected club. It is definitely not easy managing it, but this is the time when my family needs me the most and I’m fortunate to be here, rather than being in Mumbai and getting paranoid.”

The actor also informed that while his parents are COVID positive, his sister Disha is asymptomatic. The Kohli family is following all the safety protocols as they are quarantined inside the house. “Mom, Dad, and Sister are together in one room, and I stay in a separate room. And we have also provided a separate room and washroom to my house help as well. None of the infected members are allowed to step out of the room or use any other washroom. Everything is provided at the door. And we are sanitizing the house every 2 hours,” he says. The versatile star, who is also known for working in multiple-hit music videos and would be seen in a film titled Boondi Raita which has yet to go on the floors, also highlights the importance of staying not just physically healthy but maintaining mental positivity too.

He requests the fans too, to keep calm as he says, ” I am taking care of myself and my family members. Even the slightest bit of carelessness can be harmful. But, I request everyone to please not be scared. A sane mind deals with all the problems better. It takes a mental and physical toll on the patients, so it’s my responsibility to keep myself calm. Give my family the hope and make them believe that they can easily fight this!”
