Last December, everyone thought that Salman Khan has received some relief pertaining to his legal troubles as the Bombay High Court acquitted him from all the charges levied against the star by the Lower Court in his ‘Hit & Run Case.’ But unfortunately, this was not the end. This case has now reached the Supreme Court and the actor is now seeking for the relief from the apex court and it’s just not one petition which has made it to the SC in this case but, the court will now be examining two petitions against the star.
Yes, the Maharashtra Government had already filed its petition against the High Court verdict in the Supreme Court and now it’s the victim’s kin who has filed a petition in the Supreme Court. The wife of a victim named Shaikh Noorulla Shafik, who was killed in the tragic accident, has moved to Supreme Court to seek justice for her late husband. She claimed that since the time she lost her husband her life has just become miserable. She works as a domestic help and her son does odd jobs at constructing sites to sustain their family. In her petition, she even claimed that the family hasn’t received any financial relief from the star. Shafik’s family now wants the Supreme Court to reverse the verdict announced by the High Court and Salman to be sent to the jail.
Well, god knows when will Salman get out his legal hassles!
He would next seen in the film ‘Sultan’ wherein he will be donning the hat of a wrestler.
