‘Holiday A Soldier Is Never Off Duty’ – First Day Collection

Bollywood action star Akshay Kumar is back with his action Dhamaka ‘Holiday A Soldier Is Never Off Duty’. ‘Holiday’ is one of the most-hyped and highly-anticipated movie. The Murugadossa movie that released this Friday has received a decent response at the Indian Box Office. The Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha starrer ‘Holiday A Soldier Is Never Off Duty’ action entertainer has overtaken another new movie ‘Filmistan’.

Well the makers of the movie had given their all for the promotion of the Akshay Kumar – Sonakshi Sinha Starrer. Also at present there is no big film release to give ‘Holiday A Soldier Is Never Off Duty’ a competition at the Box Office. The movie opened to an average start with its occupancy ranging between 35% and 40% in the morning shows across the country.

Murugadoss-directed film should collect impressive numbers at single screens and plexes, both.” Released in 54 screens on June 5, Holiday has taken the UAE Box Office by the storm. He tweeted, “#Holiday – A Soldier Is Never Off Duty storms UAE-GCC. It’s the HIGHEST *Thursday opening* ever for an Akshay Kumar starrer.” He added, “#Holiday – A Soldier Is Never Off Duty overtakes #Housefull2 and #SinghIsKing Thursday numbers in UAE-GCC. Collects $ 226,000 [Rs 1.34 cr].”

First day collection of Holiday movie in India Bizz is 12.18 cr nett. Holiday turned out be the fourth highest day one crosses in 2014.The top spot is retained by Salman Khan’s “Jai Ho” with ₹17 crore, followed by “Gunday” with ₹16.12 crore and “2 States” in the third place with ₹12.42 crore.

Well seems like ‘Holiday A Soldier Is Never Off Duty’ has been given the thumbs up from the critics and the viewers too.
