Hollywood’s Paramount Pictures to exclusively distribute ‘Padmavati’ overseas

Just yesterday as we dug deep to predict the fate of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’, we realised it was crucial for the film to earn adequate amount of money in the overseas market. And comes the big news. Paramount Pictures, a renowned studio functioning in Hollywood, has taken over distribution rights of ‘Padmavati’ in all overseas markets.

The studio that was founded over a century ago, has been associated with numerous cult projects. Its association with ‘Padmavati’ is certainly prestigious and something we could be proud about!

The film starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in leads has had its share of controversies. But trade analysts believe that the audience’s faith on Bhansali’s majestic storytelling will win over negative publicity.
