The #MeToo movement is no less than a tsunami in India as it has stirred the entire Bollywood industry. Tanushree‘s allegations on Nana has given courage to other women to speak their #MeToo stories. It came as a shock to everyone when the names of many A-listed celebrities came to the light. Some of the horrendous incidents that we heard about Sajid Khan was beyond imagination and we couldn’t believe our ears that such a renowned filmmaker will be a sexual offender.

And now, Honey Irani, Sajid Khan’s maternal aunt has given her opinion on the ongoing #MeToo movement. She tweeted, “It’s sad that now that women are talking, most people don’t listen, and ask why did you not speak up then? Well, this is exactly why, when you can’t deal with it now, imagine how could you 10 or 15 years back. If you can’t support this movement fine, but please don’t mock it.”
After Sajid Khan was accused of sexual assault by multiple women, his sister Farah Khan and cousin Farhan Akhtar condemned their filmmaker brother.
Sajid Khan has been ousted from ‘Housefull 4’ after the allegations and stepping down from the movie, he tweeted saying, “In the wake of the allegations against me and the pressure being put on my family, my producer and the stars of my film ‘Housefull 4’, I must take the moral responsibility of stepping down from my directorial post, till the time I can allay the allegations and prove the truth.. Request my friends in the media to kindly not pass judgment till the truth is out.”
