Honey Singh Summoned By Punjab Haryana High Court

Honey Singh The Punjabi rapper who within a short period has attained high popularity among the GenX crowd,was recently embroiled in a legal controversy regarding his song ‘Main Hoon  Balatkaari’.A PIL was filed against him in the Punjab and Haryana court by an NGO  ‘HELP’ protesting against vulgar , lewd and indecent lyrics.

As per information,The bench comprising acting chief justice Jasbir Singh and Rakesh Kumar Jain heard the case and asked the petitioner’s advocate as to what kind of a singer Honey Singh is, and labelled the songs indecent.The Punjab and Haryana High court has directed singer and rapper Honey Singh to appear in court on May 14 to respond to allegations against him of singing vulgar songs. Parvinder Singh Kitna, general secretary of HELP, said, “The main idea behind moving a complaint was to stop all this. The singers have forgotten their limits and are showing no respect towards women.”

Well Honey Singh as a popular singer should not behave in such an irresponsible manner.
