Former ‘Bigg Boss’ contestant Ajaz Khan arrested for possession of banned drugs

Ex-Bigg Boss contestant and actor Ajaz Khan has landed himself in trouble once again.  According to a report in ANI, the actor has been arrested for possession of banned narcotics.

Apparently, the cops got a tip-off and raided a hotel in Navi Mumbai where they found Ajaz in possession of 8 ecstasy tablets. Reportedly, the actor was intoxicated at the time of his arrest. Sharing the news of his arrest, ANI posted on Twitter, “Actor Ajaz Khan arrested from a hotel in Belapur* by Anti-Narcotics Cell of the Mumbai police last night, in possession of a banned narcotic substance (8 ecstasy tablets); he will be produced before a court today.”

The matter is currently being investigated and the actor is in police custody for interrogation. Ajaz has a history of being embroiled in criminal offences. Earlier last year, his house was raided when police suspected him of supplying drugs. He has also been convicted for sending nudes and vulgar pictures to a female hairstylist.
