Confirmed: Paresh Rawal to play PM Narendra Modi in his biopic

A biopic on India’s charismatic Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in the pipeline. It was rumoured that powerhouse performer Paresh Rawal will play the role of India’s PM. Paresh Rawal has finally confirmed that he will be depicting the role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the latter’s upcoming biopic.

The 63-year-old, who is one of the finest actors of Bollywood will be seen in ‘Sanju’ depicting the role of late actor Sunil Dutt. After that, he will be seen reprising the role of PM Narendra Modi.

Speaking about the project Paresh Rawal said, “We are just locking the script and hopefully it will be finished by August 15, and we will begin to shoot it in September or October. It will be a hugely challenging role.”

Rawal’s next film ‘Sanju’ starring Ranbir Kapoor in the titular role will be released on June 9.
