Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will soon be tied in holy matrimony, the lovebirds who have been in a relationship since past six years recently confirmed their wedding date by sharing a joint statement on their social media handle. In the statement, they have thanked their fans and friends for showering much love on them and revealed that their wedding is taking place this month on 14 and 15.

The couple’s joint statement read as, “With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding isset to take place on the 14th and 15th of November 2018.” Further thanking their fans, the couple wrote, “We thank you for all the love that you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty, friendship and togetherness.”

As per the latest pictures trending on social media, it seems that the wedding festivities have already begun for the much-loved couple. In the pictures shared by Deepika Padukone’s stylist Shaleena Nathani and her hair stylist, the ‘Padmaavat’ star is looking resplendent in sunset yellow salwar suit for the Nandi Puja that was performed by the bride-to-be and her family in Bengaluru. Deepika’s attire for the function was designed by  Sabyasachi.

It had been reported that Deepika’s mother will be performing a Nandi Puja as per which the first invitation will be offered to God, before the wedding in Bengaluru for which she has also invited Ranveer Singh and his family members.

Reportedly Deepika and Ranveer will be tying the knot at Lake Como, Italy in the presence of their close friends and family. It will be as per South Indian and Sindhi traditions. They will later host two receptions in Bengaluru and Mumbai respectively for their extended family and industry friends.
