Deepika’s performance in THIS film is Ranveer’s favourite and it’s not ‘Padmaavat’

But more than that, this is the first time that Deepika and beau Ranveer Singh have teamed up, NOT as a couple. In a recent conversation with India Today television, Ranveer talked at length about Deepika and his admiration towards her as an artiste was evident, and beautiful too!

“Deepika is outstanding. I have to learn a lot from Deepika as an actor. She is so effective without having to do much. Her eyes tell you everything that she’s feeling. That’s a skill I hope to develop over a period of time,” he said.

At the same time, the ‘Ram Leela’ actor revealed Deepika’s best performance, according to him.

“Padmaavat is not my favourite performance of hers. It’s still Piku,” he said.
