Kajol’s ‘Eela’ to lock horns with Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Arjun Patiala’?

Powerhouse actress Kajol is all set to be seen on big screen soon. She will be seen in the Pradeep Sarkar directorial that is tentatively titled as ‘Eela’. She will be seen depicting the role of a single mother. The makers of the film had recently revealed the release date of the movie that is based on a Gujarati play, ‘Beta Kaagdo’.

The news that Kajol starrer ‘Eela’ will hit the screens on September 14 sent a wave of joy among the fans. But therein lies a twist. The Ajay Devgn and Jayantilal Gada co-production will be locking horns with Diljit Dosanjh starrer ‘Arjun Patiala’ this September at the box office.

Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Arjun Patiala’ will be releasing on September 13. So though there is difference of a day between the two releases it might still affect the screen counts of both the films.

The story of the films are quite different from each other. Kajol starrer ‘Eela’, revolves around a mother-son relationship. On the other ‘Arjun Patiala’, is a quirky comedy which is directed by Rohit Jugraj and produced under the banner of Maddock Films.
