‘Koffee with Karan’ Season 6: Sara Ali Khan reveals it was Amrita who dressed her up for Saif-Kareena’s wedding

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan is all set to mark her Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kedarnath’. Interestingly, prior to her silver screen debut, the newbie marked her small screen debut with Karan Johar’s popular chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ season 6.

Sara appeared on the show alongside her uber cool father Saif Ali Khan. Together, they literally made the show even more interesting. On the show, host Karan spoke about how Saif’s family is the quintessential modern family in B-town. Sara heartily agreed with the host and didn’t shy away from talking about her parents and her step-mother Kareena Kapoor Khan.

When asked about her equation with Kareena, Sara said that they are like friends. She even confessed how she has always admired Kareena. “I always looked up to her as an actress. She was always Poo, but then I have to tell myself she is now my father’s wife,” said Sara.

Commenting on her parent’s decision to separate, Sara said, “They would have been very unhappy had they stuck together. They took the right decision and now, everyone’s happy. I’m happy, abba is happy, mumma is happy, and Kareena is happy. I have two comfortable homes now, rather than having one uncomfortable home.”

Emphasizing how her parents are extremely comfortable with each other’s decision, Sara even revealed that it was her mother Amrita who dressed her up for Saif and Kareena’s wedding. Amrita even asked Sara to go and have fun.
